Differentiate search results by audience type / other criteria

I have a number of different types of users who will interact with my Knowledge Base. When they search a particular topic, I would like to split out the results based on some criteria (in my case, the target audience for the article is the primary criterion, but I could also imagine breaking it out by category as well).
So instead of one list of search results, it would break it out into several sets of results (which I would probably prefer to display as different tiles with the list inside of the tiles).
For example, if they search "LDAP", it comes back with
"Info for superusers" and a list of articles, "info for regular users", "FAQs" and "Setup" or something like that. some articles will appear under multiple sections and that's ok. I have a lot of overlap in my material because some articles are relevant to multiple audiences and in multiple categories.
