Option to set last edited date as publish date or auto-default to today when creating new articles

Currently, the publish date on an article is a manual setting (easily overlooked). It would be great to have a setting option that displays the last edited date as the publish date.
Alternatively (or in addition), it would be great to have the publish date auto-select today's date for newly created content. Currently, it defaults to when NotionDesk was set up, which for us was in May 2023. It's easy to miss this field when creating content and it looks quite out of date if it inadvertently gets published without manually overriding this date.

Hi Rhiannon, Thanks for the suggestion! We'll investigate the best way to offer this option.
In the meantime, you can update your Articles database in Notion by editing the New article template and setting the default value of the Publish date field to "Now". This will automatically use the current date for new content.
